Dr. H. Endang Hadrian, S.H., M.H. represented CV. Mitra Usaha Sejati in a commercial dispute concerning unpaid equipment rental fees against PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk. (PT PP), one of Indonesia's leading state-owned construction companies.
The dispute arose from the rental of scaffolding equipment supplied by CV. Mitra Usaha Sejati for the construction of the St. Moritz development project in Puri Indah, West Jakarta, where PT PP acted as the main contractor. The total value of the rental agreement was approximately IDR 2 billion.
Between 2013 and 2015, CV. Mitra Usaha Sejati continuously supplied scaffolding equipment required for the project. Although all rental equipment was fully returned upon completion of the project in 2015, the agreed rental payments remained outstanding.
According to Dr. Endang Hadrian, despite repeated expectations that the outstanding obligations would be settled upon completion of the project, the payments had not been made even by 2017, giving rise to a significant commercial dispute.
The matter involved legal issues relating to contractual obligations, commercial debt recovery, and the enforcement of payment obligations arising from construction and equipment rental agreements. Through this engagement, Dr. Endang Hadrian represented the client's interests in pursuing legal remedies to recover the outstanding receivables and enforce its contractual rights.
