Today, the Tangerang City General Elections Commission (KPU) announced the results of the vote count. The Arsyid–Andre Taulany ticket pledged to respect whatever decision the KPU would make regarding the election results.

"Provided that the decision adopted during the KPU plenary session is fully consistent with the applicable laws and regulations," said Endang Hadrian, legal counsel for the Arsyid–Andre ticket.

According to Endang, after the vote count was announced that afternoon, the KPU would not immediately declare the winning candidate. Instead, the results would first be submitted to the Constitutional Court (MK).

"The Constitutional Court will make the final determination, and each candidate will have the opportunity to raise any objections, including whether there were irregularities in the vote-counting process conducted by the KPU," Endang explained.

"If there are any irregularities, they should be clearly presented. If there are none, then the matter is considered concluded. The Constitutional Court will then return the matter to the KPU, after which the elected candidates will be officially inaugurated," he added.

Endang also expressed confidence that the results of the revote, which the KPU was scheduled to announce that day, had been conducted properly and in full compliance with the applicable legal procedures and electoral regulations.
