RM.id (Rakyat Merdeka) – Endang Hadrian has once again become a prominent figure in Indonesia’s land law community. He is widely recognized as a legal practitioner who frequently handles complex land dispute cases. He is currently representing clients in a large-scale land dispute in Semarang involving hundreds of land certificates.
The case is being heard before the Semarang Administrative Court (PTUN Semarang) under Case No. 63/G/2025/PTUN-SMG. It involves multiple parties with competing interests and presents numerous legal and factual issues.
From a legal standpoint, the dispute is considered highly complex. From the perspective of land administration, the case is equally challenging. Overlapping juridical and physical land records constitute one of the primary issues, while inconsistencies in the history of land certificate issuance have further complicated the matter.
Endang is no stranger to high-profile land disputes. He previously handled a major case in Cilegon, Banten, where he successfully secured the cancellation of 26 land certificates through the judgment of the Serang Administrative Court (PTUN Serang), Case No. 12/G/2016/PTUN-SRG. The decision has become final and binding and has been fully enforced.
Now, he faces an even greater challenge, with a dispute of significantly larger scale.
According to Endang, his legal approach extends beyond courtroom litigation. It also involves an in-depth examination of land records and documentation, including the history of land rights, the procedures for issuing land certificates, and the identification of potential administrative defects.
"Cases of this nature require meticulous attention to detail. The legal basis of every land certificate must be examined individually," he said.
He further explained that disputes involving hundreds of land certificates require a well-structured legal strategy. Evidence must be systematically collected, the disputed land parcels must be accurately mapped, and field data must be reconciled with official land administration records.
Handling litigation on this scale demonstrates a high level of legal and administrative complexity. Beyond the legal issues, the case also carries significant social implications for all parties involved.
