The legal team of Endang Hadrian & Partners represented the complainant in a criminal investigation concerning allegations of sexual abuse against a minor involving several individuals associated with the Darussalam An'Nur Orphanage Foundation in Tangerang, Indonesia.

The criminal complaint was filed on 2 July 2024 with the Tangerang Metro Police under Police Report No. LP/B/725/VII/2024/SPKT/Polres Metro Tangerang Kota/Polda Metro Jaya. The matter subsequently progressed to the formal investigation stage following the issuance of a Notice of Commencement of Investigation (Surat Pemberitahuan Dimulainya Penyidikan – SPDP) No. SPDP/281/IX/RES.1.24/2024/Reskrim.

Acting as legal counsel for the complainant, Dr. H. Endang Hadrian, S.H., M.H., confirmed that the legal team received the SPDP on 19 September 2024, together with the Investigation Order No. SP.Sidik/292/IX/RES.1.24/2024/Reskrim, concerning allegations of indecent acts against a child allegedly committed by individuals affiliated with the foundation.

Throughout the investigation, Endang Hadrian & Partners provided legal assistance to the complainant, accompanied witnesses during police examinations, and assisted in presenting additional witness testimony to support the investigative process.

Based on information disclosed during the investigation, law enforcement authorities were reportedly examining several individuals whose identities were identified only by their initials. The legal team continued to assist the complainant throughout the investigation while respecting the applicable criminal procedure and the presumption of innocence.
